FUN FACTS

African Bullfrogs are one of the largest frog species on earth, & can weigh up to four & a half pounds!! With a large size comes an even bigger appetite. African Bullfrogs are absolutely not picky eaters, & will eat just about any animal that fits into their mouths, including fish, birds, reptiles, & other frogs! Most of the time, they are dormant ambush predators, who lay very still & wait for their food to come to them, & when opportunity strikes, they lunge forward with their sticky tongue out, & gulp their prey straight into their mouth. African Bullfrogs are also one of the few species of frog that possesses teeth!
