FUN FACTS

Green Iguanas are amazing swimmers! If an iguana sleeping in the tall trees senses a predator nearby (such as a bird of prey flying overhead) they may drop down out of the tree into a river below & swim to safety! Iguanas are very defensive animals due to being prey for many carnivores in the rainforest, & if cornered or grabbed may use their teeth, claws & even tail (as a whip) for defense!
