FUN FACTS

Emperor Scorpions often will be seen with others of their same species, & will sometimes reside inside termite mounds in Africa. Termite mounds provide shelter & food to many animals all over the African continent. Not only does the Emperor Scorpion gain protection from the elements & from its predators by living this way, they also gain access to a prey source. They will eat a wide variety of animals which cross their path in the wild, including insects, spiders, small mammals & (of course) termites.
