FUN FACTS

Another name for the Ball Python is the “Royal Python.” This is likely due to legends told of Egyptian royalty keeping these beautiful snakes as pets & often wearing them as “living jewelry” around their necks & wrists. These shy snakes are very docile & unlikely to bite. If feeling threatened, they instead curl up into a ball with their head underneath their thick body as protection.
